Speculation has been rampant that the Blue Jays will look to deal Alex Rios in order to acquire pitching now that Vernon Wells has signed a long-term deal. "There's a lot of interest in Rios," J.P. Ricciardi admitted. "We also have several of our young pitchers that get asked about." He also went against the prevailing wisdom that signing another starter is a necessity to next season's success. "I don't think it's a necessity but it's something we want to do," he said.
