Tommy Lasorda hasn't been attending the Los Angeles Dodgers' recent playoff games as he recovers in a hospital from back and shoulder issues.

Dodgers executive vice president Lon Rosen told the Orange County Register that Lasorda remained hospitalized for the first game of the NLCS against the Chicago Cubs, but he was "feeling better."

Lasorda, 89, was hospitalized in August after a fall in Atlantic City, New Jersey, and required 12 stitches.
