The Los Angeles Dodgers have signed Will Venable to a Major League contract.

The Dodgers optioned Austin Barnes to free up a roster spot.

Venable previously signed deals with the Cleveland Indians and Philadelphia Phillies, both of which were of the Minor League variety.
