New Padres manager Bud Black hired former college teammate Bobby Meacham as his first base coach and Craig Colbert as his bench coach on Tuesday. They replace Tye Waller and Tony Muser, whose contracts expired Oct. 31. The Padres also gave pitching coach Darren Balsley a two-year extension.
