Both Craig Biggio and the Astros want to get a new deal done, but they are differing on what that financial figure should be. Biggio received a one-year, $4 million extension on the final day of the 2005 season. The Astros have offered a raise from last year but haven't been able to work out the deal. "Our expectations are different from his expectations," general manager Tim Purpura said. "We've offered what we think is a pretty fair number, and so far they don't agree."
