Manny Acta flew to Texas and interviewed Friday. His meeting with general manager Jon Daniels and other Rangers officials came less than 12 hours after the Mets season ended. Oakland Athletics third-base coach Ron Washington and Phillies minor league manager John Russell have both already interviewed for the position.
