Carlos Santana will be tested for concussion-like symptoms after he fell ill one day after taking a foul ball off his mask.

Santana, who was sent back to the team hotel and didn't play for the Cleveland Indians on Monday, was hit in the catcher's mask by a foul tip on Sunday.

"He was sick, but because he got that foul tip, we had to be cautious," Terry Francona told the Cleveland Plain Dealer. "We don't know if he's sick or he has concussion-like symptoms, so we sent him back to the hotel and we'll re-evaluate him and we'll go from there."
