Carlos Beltran is on the disabled list with a right elbow injury that could require surgery.

Beltran has a bone spur in the elbow. He had a cortisone shot that he is waiting to kick in.

If the shot and medication don't work, Beltran will face surgery. He estimated an operation would cost him six to eight weeks.
