Joe Girardi will rejoin the coaching staff of Yankee manager Joe Torre if he doesn?t land the Washington or Cubs managerial job. With Lou Piniella set to become the Cubs manager, this possibility becomes increasingly likely. Girardi could become Torre's eventual successor since Piniella will be off the market.
