Cliff Floyd irritated an Achilles tendon injury in Thursday's opener of the NLCS, forcing the veteran outfielder out of the contest after just two innings. Randolph's toughest decision entering the series with the Cardinals was whether or not to leave a roster spot for Floyd, who strained his left Achilles tendon Saturday, forcing him out of Game Three of the NLDS against the Dodgers.
