The Seattle Mariners will be without Robinson Cano for their next two exhibition games after he flew home to the Dominican Republic to deal with a personal matter.

"He's taking care of some personal issues, which we knew about in advance," Lloyd McClendon said.

The 31-year-old second baseman will miss games on Saturday and Sunday, then return Tuesday following the club's off-day on Monday.
