Cliff Floyd, who reinjured his left Achilles rounding third base in the third inning last night, pledged that he hasn't played his last game in 2006.
"The way I feel right now, I don't think I can let my boys down," Floyd said. "I'm going to try my best to go out there and play....If I can get out there, y'all know I'll be out there."
Floyd, diagnosed with a strain, added: "When I went around third, it yanked on me, and I haven't had that the whole time I've been dealing with this. It's a little different than I've had in the past. We'll see what happens."
Floyd Vows To Return This Postseason
