Robinson Cano left Tuesday night's game in the first inning after being hit on the hand by a pitch thrown by J.A Happ.

After initially being diagnosed with a contusion, Cano was sent to a hospital for X-rays. The tests were negative.

"It's swollen right now, and the last thing you want to do is aggravate it," said Cano, who listed as day-to-day.

Cano is hitting .305/.385/.506 with 24 home runs and 85 RBI this season.
