The Los Angeles Angels are likely to replace either Jerry DiPoto or Mike Scioscia before the 2014 season, according to a report.

There are "philosophical differences" between DiPoto and Scioscia that make the pair working together going forward almost impossible.

They have been on poor terms since at least early 2012 when they disagreed over the firing of hitting coach Mickey Hatcher.

Scioscia is signed to a ten-year contract that continues through 2018, while DiPoto is only under contract through the 2014 season.
