The Chicago White Sox have called up prospect Avisail Garcia.

They acquired Garcia in a three-team trade with the Detroit Tigers and Boston Red Sox last week.

A roster spot was created when the White Sox traded Alex Rios to the Texas Rangers on Friday afternoon in a waiver deal.
