Matt Garza and Jake Peavy are the two biggest names on the pitching market this month.

While Garza has received a majority of the attention, Peavy returned to the mound on Saturday and could provide his new team will a lot more value than Garza.

Garza will be a free agent after the season and rentals who are acquired in-season can't be extended a qualifying offer by their new team, meaning there's no chance to receive an extra compensatory draft choice.

Peavy is under contract through 2014 ($14.5 million) and could give a new team as many as four times the number of starts as Garza.
