The Rangers and Cubs continue to discuss a trade that would send Matt Garza to Texas.

Some of the names that have been mentioned as potential compensation are: third baseman Mike Olt and pitchers Neil Ramirez and C.J. Edwards.

Texas has not been willing to give up Martin Perez or Luke Jackson.
