Michael Cuddyer homered in his first at-bat on Sunday, extending his hitting streak to 21 games.

The streak is the longest in the Major Leagues this season.

Cuddyer also extended his Colorado record for consecutive games reaching base to 40.

"It's tough to do, but it's typical of Cuddy," Walt Weiss said. "He's just that guy that's steady."

Cuddyer is hitting .339/.394/.573 with 11 home runs and 43 RBI this season.
