Bryce Harper will visit Dr. James Andrews next week and won't come off the disabled list when first eligible.

Harper's left knee isn't getting any better. The swelling in the joint hasn't reduced.

"We've just got to get the swelling out. We've got to get the inflammation out of there," Davey Johnson said. "We haven't been real successful with our treatment here."

Harper has been bothered by the knee since he ran into the outfield wall at Dodger Stadium on May 13.

He is hitting .287/.386/.587 with 12 home runs and 23 RBI in 150 at-bats this season.
