Shea Hillenbrand said Sunday he wants to re-sign with the Giants and is willing to get it done early in the offseason before free agency gets into full swing. "I don't know how Mr. Sabean runs things, but I'd like to make it a point to them that this is something I'd like to pursue," Hillenbrand said. He added, "There are things I can bring to a ballclub that other free agents can't. I have the versatility to play first or third base and hit a little bit, and I'm not an old veteran. I'm right in the middle."
