FOX Sports led a contingent of former MLB greats, current players and announcers, and a selection of FOX Sports Girls on a goodwill trip to U.S. Army Garrison Grafenwoehr in Germany. Grafenwoehr is one of the Army’s premier training bases in the world, and trip attendees trained with the soldiers – including morning physical training, as well as various combat simulations.

The MLB participants conducted a youth baseball clinic, visited schools on base, and joined solders in a competitive game of wiffle ball. The wiffle game, which paired Major League Baseball players such as David Justice, Heath Bell, Wade Boggs and the FOX Sports Girls with Soldiers from the 709th Military Police Battalion and the 172nd Infantry Brigade, was the marquee event during Fox Sports' "Spring Training to the Troops. Here is a teaser from the game and the trip in general. Fans can see more from the Wiffle Ball game and the entire trip during Spring training coverage on FOX’s regional sports networks.
