Boston's Manny Ramirez (#10) moves into our Top 10 this week, as MLB moves closer to the September stretch run.
Baseball's top sluggers, Ortiz, Howard, Pujols, Hafner, Berkman, and Guerrero continue to produce huge numbers. Seven of this season's best hurlers have worked their way on to our list. Take a look at this week's RealGM Top 25.
1.(1.) David Ortiz: Despite suffering a series sweep at the hands of the Yankees, Ortiz has upped his MLB leading totals to 44 HR's and 117 RBI's. The question now may not only be can a DH win the MVP, but can a DH from a team that doesn't make the postseason win the MVP? The last AL MVP from a non-playoff team was Cal Ripken, Jr. in 1991.
2.(2.) Albert Pujols: Pujols has raised his average to .326 and is helping keep the Cardinals in first place.
