The Angels have shuffled their front office a bit.

They have promoted former shortstop Gary DiSarcina from minor league field coordinator to special assistant to Jerry Dipoto. They also hired former Rays national cross-checker Tim Huff as a special assistant to the general manager.

DiSarcina will be responsible for infield coordination throughout the system and will have a more prominent voice in major league roster decisions and planning.

Huff will focus on amateur, professional and international pitching "and will impact us in a lot of positive ways," Dipoto said.
