The Red Sox are still without a manager, but they have four known candidates for the vacant position.

Padres special assistant Brad Ausmus and Dodgers third base coach Tim Wallach are known candidates, but two others have emerged.

DeMarlo Hale, Baltimore's third base coach, and Yankees bench coach Tony Pena are also on the short list.

Wallach was "very impressive" in his interview, reports the Boston Globe.

Hale is expected to interview Thursday, while Pena was expected to meet with the front office on Monday.
