In the midst of yet another late-season collapse, Neal Huntington may not be the general manager of the Pirates for much longer.
Pittsburgh is below .500 for the first time in months, having lost 21 of their last 28 games.
Huntington has held the position since 2007 and has slowly built up the organization.
One rival high-ranking executive said he blames ownership. "They didn't spend the money," that person said. With limited resources, Huntington acquired Wandy Rodriguez, Gaby Sanchez and Travis Snider at the deadline this year.
