Jurickson Profar is baseball's latest teenage sensation, following in the footsteps of Bryce Harper.

The 19-year-old has hit well for the Rangers, but also has a history on the mound. He led Curacao to the Little League World Series title in 2004 when he was 11 and the championship game in 2005 when he was 12.

Most major-league teams wanted Profar as a pitcher, but the Rangers liked him as a hitter. Profar was partial to playing shortstop, which may have helped Texas sign him for $1.5 million at age 16.

Profar is the only teenager since 1918 to produce multiple games with extra-base hits and RBIs within his first three career games, according to Baseball Reference.
