Magic Johnson, a significant part of the ownership group that purchased the Dodgers earlier this year, has received some challenges from his players.

A Hall of Famer from his days with the Los Angeles Lakers, Johnson has already been challenged to games of one-on-one by Matt Kemp and Dee Gordon.

Over the weekend, the Dodgers acquired Carl Crawford, who was a high school basketball star in Houston.

"When he's healthy next year, Carl will probably want to take me on," Johnson said. "Matt, Carl, Dee, I'll let them all dream they can beat me. But you know better, right?"
