In trading Carl Crawford, Adrian Gonzalez and Josh Beckett to the Dodgers, the Red Sox have cut their payroll commitment for next season significantly.

There is $102.5 million remaining on Crawford's deal, $31.5 million on Beckett's contract and Gonzalez is owed $127 million over the life of his contract.

Boston had $106.9 million in payroll for 2013 already, but that number has dropped to $45.6 million with the deal.
