A few years ago, Eric Chavez decided that he wanted to become a manager when his playing days were over.

"One way or the other, I want to stay in the game," Chavez said. "In the last four years I've had to learn so much, that I feel there's a lot I want to pass on."

Playing for the Yankees, Chavez is hitting .294 with 10 doubles, 13 home runs, and a .353 on-base percentage while playing a stellar third base.
