Derek Jeter homered in New York's 6-4 win over Boston on Friday night, giving the shortstop 250 home runs for his career.

Jeter joins Willie Mays as the only players in Major League history with 3,000 hits, 250 homers, 300 steals and 1,200 RBIs.

"He's an amazing player," manager Joe Girardi said. "He's 38 years old. He's played 15 days in a row. There aren't too many 38-year-old guys who play 15 days in a row."
