The Office of the Commissioner of Baseball announced today that three Minor League players have been suspended following their violations of the Minor League Drug Prevention and Treatment Program. Phillies Minor League pitcher Gabriel Bermudez has been suspended for 50 games without pay after testing positive for metabolites of Stanozolol. The suspension of Bermudez, who is currently on the roster of the Venezuelan Summer League Phillies, is effective immediately. Braves Minor League pitcher Darrel Leiva has been suspended for 50 games without pay after testing positive for metabolites of Nandrolone and metabolites of Stanozolol. The suspension of Leiva, who is currently on the roster of the Dominican Summer League Braves, is effective immediately.
