Forced to leave Monday night's loss to the Orioles, Mark Teixeira will undergo an MRI on his injured left wrist. "You just have to keep your fingers crossed," Yankees manager Joe Girardi said regarding the severity of the injury. Teixeira will likely miss at least a couple of days as the wrist is not broken. Teixeira said he first hurt the wrist swinging and missing on Sunday night against Red Sox lefty Felix Doubront. Wearing a protective sleeve on the wrist Monday night, he further irritated the injury diving for a J.J. Hardy ground single in the seventh.
