The Yankees are down another outfielder after Nick Swisher left Friday night's game against the Athletics with a strained hip flexor. "He's day to day," manager Joe Girardi said. "We'll see how he feels tomorrow to make a true evaluation. He's not going to be a player for me tomorrow. Hopefully it's not long." New York will have to be cautious with Swisher because they are already shallow in outfielders. With Brett Gardner almost certainly out for the season, Raul Ibanez, 40, and Andruw Jones, 35, are in a platoon in left field.
