The Pirates will soon have to make a decision regarding the future of closer Joel Hanrahan.
Pittsburgh will either trade the right-hander or sign him to a long-term contract extension.
He is making $4.1 million this season and will be eligible for salary arbitration next season. He can become a free agent after the 2013 season.
"I know it's a business and anything can happen, but I don't foresee them trading me away," Hanrahan said this week. "I think they're going to keep me here so we can win a championship together."
