Corey Hart is ahead of schedule in his return from minor knee surgery. There is a good chance that Hart will be ready for Opening Day. However, Ron Roenicke made it clear Saturday that Hart also will have to be baseball-ready. "I'm hearing real good things," Roenicke said. "He's ahead of schedule. If he stays on this pace physically, he will be ready to go on opening day. But baseball-wise, I don't know if he will be. "We're trying to figure out how many games we think he'll need to be ready. As things go on, we'll see how he's doing and see how, when he starts playing in games, how his at-bats go. "Results need to be there. When I say results, I don't mean they have to be hits. But if he's having good at-bats and squaring up balls and is laying off (bad) stuff and he looks good, then we'll have to think about it."
