The Giants welcomed back some familiar faces Wednesday, three days before pitchers and catchers are due to report to Spring Training. Outfielder Justin Christian cleared release waivers, re-signed with San Francisco and received a non-roster invitation to camp. The Giants also signed veteran Ramon Ortiz to a Minor League contract with an invitation to big league camp. Ortiz, who was in camp with the Giants in 2009.
