The Athletics are in conversations with the Rangers about trading for reliever Koji Uehara. Oakland is also in talks with Mike Gonzalez as they search for a reliever. Uehara went 2-3 with a 2.38 ERA and 85 strikeouts over 65 innings pitched for the Orioles and Rangers in 2011.
