Alfonso Soriano said more than once last season that he likely wouldn't block a trade if the Cubs attempted to deal him, but he seems to have had a change of heart. "They can do whatever they want," Soriano said. "It has to be good for me and my family for me to agree [to a trade]. I'm comfortable with the Cubs. "I won't go to just any team. I want to be with a contender. I also want to be in the playoffs again. So I'd have to be comfortable with both the team and the city I get traded to." The Cubs owe Soriano $54 million over the next three years and he has control of his fate with 10-and-5 no trade rights. Chicago has talked to upwards of eight teams, most of which are in the American League, about Soriano, according to major league sources. "I'm not really concerned about it," Soriano said. "I've been traded two or three times before and I know that's a part of the game."
