While the Yankees picked up his option for the 2012 season, there is no guarantee that right fielder Nick Swisher will remain with the team. There have been rumors that other clubs are interested in his services and New York badly needs pitching. "I don't ever look that far ahead," Swisher said. "I know what I bring to the table. We just have to see what happens." Swisher has been criticized for his playoff struggles. He has a career postseason average of .169. "I don't worry about that stuff," he said. "It was like 15 at-bats. I don't ever think about that." He has repeatedly said that he would love to remain in pinstripes. "I think everybody in the Yankees organization and here in New York knows how excited I am and how Iucky I feel to be here," Swisher said. "We'll just see what happens after this year. That's the fun part: You never know what's going to happen."
