The Royals added another left-hander to their bullpen on Tuesday by acquiring Aaron Laffey from the Yankees in a waiver claim. Laffey, 26, was 3-2 with a 3.88 ERA in 47 games while splitting the past season with the Yankees and Seattle Mariners. He spent the four previous seasons with the Indians. "It gives us another option from the left side," general manager Dayton Moore said. "He's still very young. He's always had the ability to spin the ball, and our scouts feel like he's an upgrade for us."
