Red Sox center fielder Jacoby Ellsbury continues to experience soreness after being hit in the back by a pitch Friday night. He was out of the lineup for the second straight day on Sunday against the Royals. Boston manager Terry Francona said Ellsbury could return for Monday's game at Texas but indicated the Red Sox would treat his bruised back with caution. "He's pretty sore," Francona said. "When he's able to get in there and be comfortable to play, we'll get him back in there. Getting him back in there too early doesn't do anybody any good."
