The Giants sent Brian Wilson on Wednesday to be examined by Dr. James Andrews in Pensacola, Fla., where he was diagnosed with right elbow inflammation. Tests did not show damage to Wilson's ulnar collateral ligament, which Andrews reconstructed in 2003. Giants manager Bruce Bochy said Wilson didn't need to go on the disabled list but would get "a couple days off."
