After weeks of uncertainty and the recent firing of Allard Baird, it is now offical that Braves assistant general manager Dayton Moore will take over the rebuilding project that is the Kansas City Royals. Moore has been with the Braves since 1994 and was thought to be the eventual successor to John Schuerholz, and was also mentioned as a candidate for the vacant position in Boston this past winter. Moore will take over offically after next week's draft.
