Mets outfielder Carlos Beltran wouldn't object to a trade prior to baseball's July 31 non-waiver deadline. Teammates Jose Reyes and Francisco Rodriguez has publicly stated that they would prefer to remain in New York. "This is a business," Beltran told The New York Post. He holds a full no-trade and can block any deal, but indicated he's willing to waive that clause should Mets general manager Sandy Alderson come up with the right deal. "The team is always going to do what is best for the team, and as a player you have to make a decision if the trade makes sense or not," Beltran said.
