The White Sox have placed left-hander John Danks on the disabled list with a strained right oblique. Danks, who injured himself in Saturday's game against the Nationals, had never been placed on the DL in his Major League career. He is 3-8 with a 4.21 ERA this season, going 3-0 with a 1.14 ERA over his last four starts. His major concern is whether the injury will impede his momentum when he returns. "Obviously I hate missing time because I feel good," Danks said. "I feel like I'm on a roll. We are going to keep doing what we've done to this point to get back on track, but I mean it's definitely worth asking. I don't know. I hope it doesn't."
