Brewers right-hander Shaun Marcum may miss his next start after straining his left hip in his previous appearance.
He was hurt in the first inning of a 10-4 loss to Boston on Friday night.
Marcum threw a brief bullpen session Monday and said he still feels sore. He is supposed to start Wednesday against Tampa Bay.
He is 7-2 with a 2.85 ERA in 15 starts after being traded from Toronto in the offseason.
