Alex Rodriguez insists that the shoulder issue mentioned by Yankees manager Joe Girardi on Sunday is a non-issue. A report strongly hinted that Rodriguez had been playing for three weeks with a strained shoulder. "That's the first I have heard of it," Rodriguez said. "I don't know where that came from. It's nothing out of the ordinary, normal bumps and bruises." Rodriguez admitted to getting treated with heat before games recently. A strain? "No," Girardi said. "He is fine, sore but nothing serious. He is just sore. It's not a strain."
