The Mets aren't looking to deal shortstop Jose Reyes, but that doesn't mean they won't listen to any offers.
According to a team source, New York would listen if a suitor "bowled them over" with a proposal.
Reyes will be a free agent at the end of the season and Ken Rosenthal of FOX Sports writes that the Mets might be more flexible now in regards to re-signing him.
The Mets still aren't willing to give Reyes a contract similar to Carl Crawford's seven-year, $142 million deal with the Red Sox.
However, club officials know they will not retain Reyes at the price they desired initially -– three years, $45 to $50 million.
