Coco Crisp is ready to begin a minor league rehabilitation assignment, now that he has taken two days of batting practice without any pain. ?Because we?re sending him (to Florida), we can kind of do what we want,? manager Terry Francona said. ?He can play center field, he can lead off every inning. We are going to try to get him 10, 12, 15 at-bats. He?ll spend two days there, then go to Pawtucket and play Saturday night. He?ll either play again Sunday (at McCoy Stadium) or come back and work out with us and go with us (to Toronto on Sunday night).?
