Rangers pitcher Brandon Webb has inflammation in his rotator cuff and has been taken off his rehab assignment. Webb experienced discomfort in his right shoulder during a bullpen session Thursday. He was evaluated by physician Keith Meister, diagnosed with the inflammation and prescribed anti-inflammatory medicine. He will continue to throw on the side, and the club hopes this is a minor setback.
